Robin Gillmore. Principal

Since 2011 Robin has been the Principal and Founder of The Paradigm Shift.

Robin is an expert in strategic research applications. In his career he has worked for most major FMCG companies, many NFPs, government, automotive, finance, media and retail clients.

Robin has particular expertise in brand and communication research, choice modelling and segmentation studies. He is also an expert at tailoring research solutions to strategic problems from scratch.

Mary-Ellen Quirk. Principal

Since 2011 Mary-Ellen has been the Principal and Founder of The Paradigm Shift.

Mary-Ellen has significant experience working in the FMCG, Entertainment, Finance and Telecommunications sectors in marketing, insights and strategy roles. She has worked for some of Australia’s largest organisations including Telstra, The Commonwealth Bank, as well as Village Roadshow, Pillsbury Australia (now General Mills) and Kraft Foods.

Mary-Ellen is an expert in applying strategic thinking to quantitative research. She is able to bring her wealth of experience to the fore in ensuring that the research is both relevant and actionable.

Michael Hill. Account Director

Michael has extensive experience across various research methodologies and industries after studying statistics, commerce and marketing at Macquarie University. He worked for a number of years at BIS Shrapnel in economic forecasting sizing across Australia before moving to BDRC Jones Donald, Jigsaw Research and The Paradigm Shift for the past 5 years.

Michael’s goal is to find the clear message in the data that answers the key issues and is actionable. He has background in segmentation, choice modelling, econometrics, concept testing, comms testing and brand tracking.
